Jakarta Flood 2012

Is it a sin to wish to be downtown to videotape the dramatic flood of the year? I couldn't make it on January 17, 2013, as train access was also blocked by the floods. This file is one out of five other more to show you how flooding hit Jakarta regardless of what you're doing and how important business you might have. You guys like or plan to travel here, just consider visiting Jakarta, Indonesia, at the right time, will you?

So, what do you think after watching this video of Jakarta flooding? No, swimming here is not a good idea. Lol. In the meantime, we, Indonesians just take it for granted? This is all our concern, one thing for sure. However, the authority who has more power than people, they should be able to do more to cope with the problem. Forget about easier said than done, there should solution to this classic problem.

Just imagine, anytime the disaster comes taking life of human beings, it should let people think that there should be no more video like this in the future. Let Jakarta free from flooding. Let our beloved full-initiative governor, Mr. Jokowi does his best. We, Jakartans pray for and supports him.
